Persons who do not carry out any of the activities listed in Section 42 (1) IfSG are not obliged to undergo infection protection training. This applies, for example, to activities without direct contact with food or without dealing with sensitive groups of people. In addition, persons who are authorized to practice independently as a doctor, dentist or veterinarian are exempt from the licensing requirement under Section 44 IfSG under certain conditions.
